[ while it's hard to say if this bell will actually do anything, this quest is a lot easier than fending off elves, or singing songs. go to the woods, ring the bell, make a wish. zelda ends up requesting reim to come along with her, thinking they could both ask for something useful. ]
What do you think you'll wish for Reim? Or is it a surprise?
[Fending off elves and singing are the worst things ever... worse than the skeletons that turned up the other month, according to Reim. So yes, he's pretty dead set on ringing a bell in the woods - seems harmless enough.]
Something practical, I suppose... This town provides the basics, more or less, but not entirely.
That is very much like you -- in a good way of course!
[ of course. ]
I'm still rather undecided. I'm contemplating a wish for a warm winter, but maybe that's too powerful a request for a simple quest? The rules are always so fickle.
Do you think such a broad wish would leave too much room for interpretation? By, er, the town's mysterious forces. [...] Perhaps if you rang the bell multiple times.
Isn't that also cheating? Attempting to make more wishes, or saying "I wish for more than one wish." These quests take a lot of the spirit of things into account!
im here to combo break

I think you just want to ring the bell the way an excited child would.
